2015 Ford Mustang spied testing

Rumors about the impending launch of the new generation of the Ford Mustang have been circulating on the interweb for a long, long while now. And now we finally have some spy shots to go with the reports and speculation surrounding the 2015 Ford Mustang. In Boss 302 form, the vehicle has been spied with interesting new bodywork though much of it was carefully camouflaged. The testing vehicle shows the new Mustang using the new front fascia that was developed for the Evos concept and was seen on the new Fusion. Much of the changes in the new vehicle center around the nose segment of the vehicle though experts expect to see an equal number of changes in the vehicle’s powertrain.

Earlier this year, Ford's Derrick Kuzak confirmed that the new Mustang will get the company’s EcoBoost power technology or some derivation of it which is most likely to be paired with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine. A 5.0-liter V-8 and a turbocharged V-6 might also make an appearance in the range though the power output of the vehicle is expected to remain in the 650 hp-plus region to make it a better offering than the current car. Ford has tentatively marked the vehicle for a 2015 model year release though it could hit dealerships well by the middle of 2014 itself.
