Based on the same basic architecture as the Confederate B120 Wraith, the Renaissance Fighter features both cosmetic and engineering upgrades. The engine is a 1,966 cc, 45 degree, radial twin with forged lightweight pistons, CNC aircraft billet aluminum heads and a Confederate "Combat" design Dual countershaft balance system. This engine is mated to a 5-speed close ratio transmission with belt drive.
The chassis of the Confederate C120 Renaissance Fighter consists of a titanium backbone and billet aluminium front and rear bulkheads. At the front is a girder-type billet aluminum and titanium multi-link suspension system with centered coil-over shock and dual carbon fiber blades. The LED headlights and turn signals are cleverly integrated into the girder uprights. At the rear is a drag-race inspired suspension design which features an aluminium swingarm and long travel coil over shock absorber.
Braking on the C120 Renaissance Fighter is done with an aircraft-grade billet aluminum 4 piston caliper gripping an aluminum-ceramic lightweight disc at the front. At the rear is a 2 piston caliper and lightweight rotor.
