Located in Bergamo, Composite Worx is an unknown name in the car industry but this might change after seeing their Lotus Extrema project. It's based on the Exige and comes with a Chevrolet Corvette-sourced LS9 V8 engine producing 649 hp (484 kW).
With a curb weight of just 970 kg (2138 lbs), the Extrema is able to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in only 2.9 seconds and needs 7 seconds from 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h) on its way to a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). That low curb weight was possible thanks to the vehicle's carbon fiber body and SP-1 twin skin full carbon seats.
